RAMSBOTTOM left the Bower Fold feeling they had been robbed of the three points after hosts Curzon Ashton scored eight minutes into stoppage time.

There didn't seem to be any serious injuries, but it wouldn't have mattered if the visitors had taken their many chances during the 90 minutes.

The constant pressure on the Curzon goal only reaped rewards once when Chris Mackay's shot from 25 yards flew like an arrow in to the bottom corner.

COLNE went down to a second successive defeat when they were beaten 2-1 by Stone Dominoes at Holt House.

They found themselves two down through goals after 35 and 60 minutes before the introduction of James Webster, Chris Ingham and Ian Simpson injected some life into Colne.

It was Simpson who scored the consolation goal following a cross from new signing Paul Forsyth.

Division Two leaders PADIHAM dropped two points at home to Chadderton but will consider it a good result after being 2-0 behind and down to 10 men following the dismissal of Scott Derbyshire.

Dave Glynn and Matt Landregan, whose penalty came following the foul Derbyshire was dismissed for, gave Chadderton their lead but their captain Lee Spratt headed into his own goal before the interval.

DARWEN put their midweek horror show behind them to record a deserved victory over Oldham Town at the Anchor Ground.

With manager Steve Mullen slotting in at centre midfield, assistant boss Paul Brown took charge of a much-changed team after the 7-1 home drubbing to Ashton Town.

Paul Hulme opened the scoring for the hosts on 16 minutes with a deflected effort and McDonald wrapped things up for Darwen shortly before the final whistle.

On Friday night, NELSON beat Winsford United 1-0 through a 22nd minute Chapman goal.
