I disagree with the article 'No longer the Good Old Days' which paints a very negative picture about how we treat elder members in our community.
In my household like many others we would not dream of leaving our mum and dad to fend for themselves.
It is true however that the family structure within the Asian community has changed. This I think has had a negative affect on our community - leading to more criminal element emerging.
