A WOMAN pedestrian from Bury has died after she was struck by an articulated lorry on Friday morning.
Helena Laczko, of Dorset Drive, Bury, suffered serious injuries in the accident on Bury New Road, Heywood, at 10.20am. She was taken to Fairfield Hospital in a critical condition, and died later that day.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 58-year-old appeared to run into the road near to Bury Caravans. Anyone with information should contact police on 856 8809.
