THE mayor, Coun June Forshaw, is inviting people to join her at a mayoral open day at the Asotria this Saturday.
She will be acting as host to other Lancashire mayors and mayoresses, along with a group of visitors from Rossendale's twin town of Bocholt.
Coun Forshaw said: "I hope lots of people will attend to see the regalia and hear about the history of Rossendale."
The event runs from 11am until 3pm and visitors should use the side door, opposite the town hall.
