A 28-year-old man and a teenager from Bury are being quizzed by detectives in connection with a murder in Blackley earlier this week.
The duo were arrested on Wednesday night along with a 32-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man from Blackley.
Police officers launched a murder inquiry after they were called to Colmore Drive in the town at around 9.30pm on Tuesday following reports that a car was on fire. Police found the body of a man close to the burning car.
The man, in his mid to late 20s and of mixed race, had sustained several stab wounds and a number of burns to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. But he has not yet been formally identified.
