A NURSE was due in court today charged with the manslaughter of an 18-month-old Blackburn patient.
Rose Aru, a paediatric nurse at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool, is accused of killing Jake McGeough, of Leicester Road, Whitebirk, in July 2001.
He died at the hospital following treatment for a heart condition.
Aru, 59, from the Wavertree area of Liverpool, was expected to appear before Liverpool Crown Court.
