A 25-YEAR-OLD man from Leigh accused of a £29,000 post office robbery has appeared in court.
Craig Smith, of South Avenue, Hope Carr, Leigh, is alleged to have carried out the robbery at Walthew Lane, Wigan, on May 21.
He is also charged with robbing Richard Davies of a Ford Mondeo car the previous day.
Smith was remanded in custody by Liverpool Crown Court on Monday until December 20 when he is expected to enter his pleas.
