A NEW book celebrating Sabden's centenary year will be published on Saturday.
Sabden Past and Present has been compiled by villagers Audrey Barrett and David Eaves - and contains 250 archive photographs of life in the Pendleside community.
They will launch their work at the village school and sign copies for residents who have subscribed. A slideshow featuring old Sabden will be also shown throughout the event.
The £10 paperback, published by Landy and Bob Dobson, will present a cheque to all four village churches as a thank-you for their help.
