CHILDREN from the borough were honoured at a night of celebration at Bury Town Hall.
The Celebration of Achievement Awards saw the positive work of the borough's looked-after children recognised.
It was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Bury, Councillors Barry and Sharon Briggs, and Bury North MP David Chaytor.
Around 200 youngsters were there to receive awards in a range of categories. All received a certificate and gift to recognise their own personal achievements. They were also awarded GCSE certificates they gained this summer.
