A FORMER Rossendale office worker found fame as a ventriloquist.
Kathleen Speechley, of Newchurch, ditched typing and filing and took to the stage as a variety artist.
After achieving success appearing on TV and touring the UK with her act, she returned to the North West for a special concert for family and friends using her new stage name Kathleen Kirk.
