WITH reference to the booking of police cars by traffic wardens (LET, October 23), I find the comment by a council spokesman that "wardens would book illegally parked police cars as they did not know when they were actually on duty" totally ludicrous.
If a police car is out on the streets then it is driven by a police officer on duty. They are not allowed to go shopping in them.
