A MEETING to extend the Friends of Heaton Hall group will be held on Sunday.
The group was formed almost a year ago and has more than 60 members, all interested in the fascinating history of the hall and Heaton estate in Heaton Park.
The enthusiastic members have worked as volunteers alongside Manchester City Council staff greeting visitors and delivering education programmes.
The group will have its first formal meeting to elect officers in the park's bowls pavilion at 2pm. Anyone who is interested in joining the Friends is invited to attend the meeting.
