SPARKS are set to fly at Burrs Country Park on Saturday night for a spectacular firework display.
The event, to raise money for Pendlebury Childrens Hospital, gets underway at 6pm with entertainment, and a mini-funfair, followed by the firework and light show around 8pm.
The occasion will also celebrate the 20th year in the fireworks industry of Radcliffe businessman Peter Stephenson. He has donated £20,000 of professional fireworks for the display.
The entrance fee is £2 per person, with children under one metre getting in free.
