CORRESPONDENT Phil Kaiserman is apparently forgetting what he and others fought the Second World War for "democratic freedom."

Freedom of thought, freedom to speak those thoughts, freedom of religion - or not - as the case may be.

Sometimes we do not like other people's opinions, but let us not forget all those thousands who fell to defend that freedom of thought and speech.

If you do not like what a political opponent is saying, then put up a better argument. Do not just condemn that opinion.
