LEIGH Townswomen's Guild is thanking everyone who helped raise £511.65 from a charity evening for leukaemia research.
On Tuesday, the group's social studies evening will feature Maureen Leach, who will speak on "The Lancashire Dialect".
The following Tuesday, at a handicrafts evening, Joyce Crane will demonstrate "Things For Christmas". Both are 7.30pm in Leigh Library's Derby Room.
