A 20mph zone is to be created in the Gannow Lane area of Burnley, county council bosses have announced.
Road humps will be created on streets, while signs informing people of the reduced speed limit will also be put up.
Lancashire County Council approved creation of the new zone after receiving no negative comments during consultation from residents. Plans are being drawn up for similar 20mph zones in South West Burnley and Victoria Road, Padiham.
