Research company Gartner say that four times as many camera phones will have been sold by the end of the year in comparison to last year.

But their popularity is set to mushroom as the quality of the pictures they take improves. Currently in Europe, cameras on mobiles reach a maximum of 1.3 megapixels, but in the Far East cameras already exist which can take 3.2 megapixel images.

And as cameras develop to include zoom focus, editing tricks and easier ways to send the pictures, Gartner say nearly 70 per cent of mobile phones will have a built-in camera by 2008.

AFERRARI Enzo has become the highest priced item to sell on eBay in Europe, reaching £540,000 on the auction website.

The car is one of only 399 made, has just 400km on the clock, and the 600 horsepower motor attracted the attention of petrol heads worldwide.

The most expensive sale made in the UK was Margaret Thatcher's handbag, which sold for £103,000, while the most expensive eBay sale globally was a Gulfstream jet at $4.9m.

IF you still have a box of toy soldiers hidden away in the attic then the Plastic Soldier Review website is for you. The site (www.plasticsoldierreview.com) catalogues as many different manufacturers and reviews their soldiers from years ago to the present.

And when I say review, it involves researching the historical accuracy of uniforms, whether the equipment is right and even if they stand correctly.
