SUPER League newcomers Leigh Centurions have made Australian half-back Jason Ferris their seventh signing for 2005.
The 29-year-old former Manly and Penrith player, who rejected offers from Widnes and Salford last year because his wife had just given birth, has signed a one-year deal with the Centurions.
Head coach Darren Abram said: "Jason is a very organised half-back, has an excellent kicking game and is strong in defence. He is a very enthusiastic player and will be a great asset for the club."
