DRIVERS using junction 5 of the M61 will be hit by overnight closures this weekend.
Resurfacing work to improve safety will take place on the southbound exit slip road at Westhoughton along with adjoining lengths of carriageway lanes 1 and 2.Work begins on Friday, November 5, at 9pm and continues until 7.30am on Saturday and from 9pm on Saturday until 8am on Sunday. A diversion sign will be in place.
