BARRIERS to job recruitment and selection will come under the microscope at the latest Embracing Diversity Employer Forum to be staged by Bury Employment Support & Training (EST).
The event is to be held at the town's Bolholt Country Park Hotel next Wednesday between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Delegates will split into workshop groups for discussion and feedback sessions. Bury EST is currently involved in a project to help certain disadvantaged groups gain employment and to create a diverse workforce in the area.
Running in parallel to the Employer Forum, Bury EST have arranged regular focus group meetings to get feedback from clients and their families on their experiences in gaining and maintaining employment.
