A 26-YEAR-OLD man died after a car crashed into a barrier on the M66 in Bury on Christmas Day morning.
The driver, who has not yet been named, lost control of the Mazda on the exit slip road of the M66 at Pilsworth.
He suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Hope Hospital, Salford, where he was pronounced dead. It is believed three other people were also injured.
A post mortem is due to be carried out on Tuesday.
