ATHERTON and Tyldesley Round Table is looking for new members to help with a busy 2005 programme of events.
This year the organisation has collected for Children in Need, put up a Christmas tree and crib outside Atherton parish church and organised a weekend away for 110 people.
Now it is gearing up for the 16th Bent & Bongs Beer Bash at the Formby Hall at the end of January.
The beer festival raises thousands of pounds for local charities, and the main beneficiary this year will be Wigan & Leigh Hospice, with support also given to Childflight.
