A WOMAN was treated for burns to her feet and smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire.
Firefighters were called to King Street in Radcliffe at 2am on Boxing Day after a television set had been left on top of a switched-on cooker, and began to melt.
The occupant, aged in her 30s, attempted to carry the burning set outside, but sustained burns to her feet. She was taken to Fairfield General Hospital, but was released after treatment.
