CHEERS to the end of 2004 and the worst year of my life so far!
It's been a year of torment, worry and relief with all three of the nearest and dearest to me being treated for life-threatening illnesses.
I've had to deal with a very serious cancer, a not as serious cancer and peritonitis.
Now that they are all on the best side I'm looking forward to a less stressful 2005.
My condolences go to those of you who must have had a worse year in which loved ones have been lost and are missed dreadfully. Sadly some will have an equally awful year to face and already know it, but thankfully many don't yet know what trials will be in store.
We just have to accept what comes, shake ourselves down and get on with life as best we can.
Here's to a happy 2005.
