THREE of Sedgley Park's up-and-coming junior stars will be playing international rugby in the New Year.
Jonny Appleton (Holy Cross College), Jordan Page (Kirkham GS) nd Jack Forster (Bolton GS) were among 25 players from the North to be selected in the England 18 Group's 80-strong training squad to prepare for this season's international programme.
The squad trains at Coventry, January 2-4 before being split into three England 18 Group teams
One side will take part in the Association Europen Rugby festival in Lille, France, March 17-26.
A second will play in the Four Home Unions Festival in Wales, March 25-April 1.
While the third takes on Ireland at Cork on March 26, France at Bournemouth on April 2 and Wales at Neath on April 9.
