RESIDENTS from Chesham Fold and Pimhole have been invited to sharpen up their pool skills for a special tournament in Bury next Wednesday.
The competition, organised by the Asian Development Association of Bury (ADAB), Chesham Fold Tenants Residents' Association and the Jinnah Day Care Centre, is aiming to strengthen relations between elderly people in the white and asian communities.
It is hoped the match will become an annual event with the winning team keeping the trophy for one year.
The match will be held at the Jinnah Day Care Centre, in Alfred Street, Bury, between 1pm and 4pm with refreshments and buffet.
