SIX-year-old Brett Woodcock proved himself the ace in the pack with his Christmas card design.
He beat hundreds of youngsters from across Greater Manchester to scoop the top prize in an annual competition.
Brett was one of around 40 pupils from St Mary's School in Hawkshaw to enter the contest run by recruitment company Supply Desk Ltd.
The prize capped a successful year for the youngster, who came top in the county for the Key Stage 1 age range (5-7 years).
Madeleine O'Regan, education consultant with Supply Desk went to the school in Bolton Road to present Brett with a framed certificate and prize of £20 worth of WHSmith vouchers.
Creative flair obviously runs in the Woodcock family, as Brett's 10-year-old sister April won a similar Christmas card competition three years ago!
