A NEW Children's Centre is set to dominate the first Whitefield and Unsworth Area Board meeting of the New Year.
The centre will be based at Ribble Drive Primary School and the meeting, which will take place at Castlebrook High School, Unsworth, next Wednesday at 7pm, will give residents the chance to have their say on the development
Councillor Joan Grimshaw, board chairman, said: "This is a great start to the new year. The presentation at the area board is just the start of involving local people in the planning of this new service."
The agenda will also include reports from the police and Bury Councils youth service, news on highways improvements for 2005/06 as well as a 45-minute open forum.
