PRESTWICH-based Appleby Bowers has designs on success after masterminding a new corporate identity for an up-and-coming business which is already working with some major brands and high street names.

Redwol has been operating for more than 18 months and boasts an impressive client base such as a world famous football club, leading Scandinavian outdoor pursuit and fishing tackle specialist, various property developers and an Italian fashion house.

Redwol's creative director Marc Jeffrey approached creative communications specialist Appleby Bowers, located at the Bank House Studios in Warwick Street, to design a corporate marque to spearhead their public image.

Both businesses are very near neighbours - for Redwol is based at the same premises.

Marc explained: "We wanted a design to reflect the company's ethos of evolution and change. The red colour scheme is both rich and high impact and relates directly to our name, while the circle illustrates a constantly changing landscape and has synergy with seeing and discovering new horizons."

The Redwol project is another boost for Appleby Bowers, which just recently clinched a top Groundwork Bury award to mark the works the company had undertaken at its headquarters.

Managing director Bernie Bowers said: "We specialise in corporate identity projects, working with companies both big and small. It is very gratifying to be playing an important role in the development of a young and vibrant new business."
