A CHARITY challenge football match between Prestwich Heys and Bury Amateurs is to be staged on Sunday (January 2) - weather permitting.
A white Christmas put paid to the game being held on the Sandgate Road ground last Tuesday.
But it will now kick off at 2pm on Sunday, with money being raised for Francis House childrens hospice.
The snow and ice also meant Heys' first team game away at Dukinfield in the Gilchryst Cup on Monday was postponed. No new date has been set.
The first team plan to get back to competitive action on Saturday January 8, with a home league match against Atherton Town.
