I WOULD like to thank the Samlesbury and District Young Farmers Club who recently raised over £200 for Make a Wish UK.
This group of young people are thoughtful and generous and take the time to think of others whilst obviously enjoying themselves at the same time.
Make a Wish grants wishes for children who live with life-threatening conditions.
A wish can be anything from wanting to have a room makeover to meeting a pop idol, making a record to being a princess for a day.
Average cost of a wish is £3,000 and without the support of people like the Young Farmers Club we would be unable to grant the wishes and put a little magic and laughter into the lives of the children.
