A MAN has been arrested after a suspicious blaze at a house in Whitefield Road, Bury.
Two crews spent an hour at the scene and confined the fire to the living room. A settee was destroyed and the remainder of the house was smoke-logged.
Police said a 25-year-old man was detained at the scene. He was later released on bail until February 28.
