POLICE were today investigating reports of an early-morning street robbery in Burnley town centre.
Officers were looking into reports of the incident which happened outside the White Lion pub in St James's Street.
An area around the pub and an alleyway were cordoned off today and scenes of crime officers were due to visit the area.
A police officer at the scene said: "We've had reports of a robbery in the early hours of the morning and we are investigating."
