BURNING off the Christmas calories has never been easier thanks to United Utilities who has invited people to take a relaxing stroll across its land.
The water provider owns nearly 60,000 hectares of land across the north west, including Jumbles Reservoir near Bury, and Nick Taylor, environment and community manager, claims it is the perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors.
He said: "A brisk walk in the open air is the perfect antidote to too much turkey and TV and we have an access policy which means the public can enjoy the great outdoors on our land."
