YOUNGSTERS at two Blackburn schools missed out on the Monday morning blues after frozen water pipes burst flooding the buildings.
The children from St Anthony's Junior School, Shadsworth, and Feniscowles Infant School were given an extra-long holiday while staff frantically tried to mop up the damage.
Parents were told they would be informed via the local press when to send the children back.
