A MOTHER and daughter were lucky to be alive after their car hit a bullock at 40mph.
Four-year-old Hannah Middlehurst and her mother Christina were treated for cuts and bruises after their car collided with the bullock in Ramsgreave Drive, near Blackburn Rugby Club.
Mrs Middlehurst said: "I saw the bullock but it just came at me and I couldn't avoid it."
The eight-month-old bullock had to be destroyed after breaking its leg.
