NELSON'S flagship Wilkinson store is due to open in February.
A family fun day is planned for the grand opening at Pendle Rise Shopping Centre.
The company, which sells discount household goods, is busy recruiting staff for its new shop, one of 245 across the UK.
Manager Pete Walton said: "Wilkinson is delighted to be arriving in Nelson and we are now looking forward to taking on our new team members and contributing to the grown of the town's economy when we open.
"We'd love to hear from local people interested in working for one of the fastest growing high street retailers in the country. Whatever position people are interested in, we can promise that working for Wilkinson is great fun and offers great benefits."
Building work on the Pendle Rise extension has suffered a number of delays. The store was originally due to open before Christmas but building did not finish until December.
