I THINK I may be able to answer some of the car park questions posed by Victor M (Letters, January 6).
I also had the misfortune to pop into Tesco with the hope of being out again within a few minutes, only to be held captive on the car park due to the complicated road system. While sat in my car, I made a mental note to be equipped next time with outdoor survival gear.
I suggest that the bod who designed the car park has probably got a university degree or two but, alas, no common sense.
Also, I would like to add that the car park would be considerably quieter if we didn't have the cheapskate brigade parking for free then walking across the road to do their shopping in Bury.
I say: bring back the corner shop!
