CHAT Moss at sunset or mist over Pennington Flash could be in line for a prize at an international photography exhibition to celebrate Europe Day on May 9. Twin town Angers is hosting the special show, and organisers across the Channel want photographers from the Leigh area to show the rest of Europe the best of their borough.
The prize exhibition will feature contributions from Angers' other European twin towns: Haarlem in the Netherlands, Osnabrck in north west Germany and Pisa in Tuscany, Italy. Photos should be 20x30cm and the closing date for entries is Monday, February 21st.
Contact Wigan's Ambassador from Angers, Anne Louvigny, on 01942 705470.
