The game was one-sided from the outset - Sedgley's pack was too powerful and well organised for the home side, while stand-off Louis Singleton also had a good game, though the chances he created were not always taken.
Prop Joe Doyle scored the first after two minutes, then it was the turn of the locks, Ryan Purcell and captain Andrew Dauncey (2).
Axel Spencer-Anforth linked from full-back for the next and wing Sam Holden scored the sixth.
With Spencer-Anforth landing 5 out of 6 kicks, by no means all easy ones, Sedgley led 40-0 at half-time.
Nine changes to the Park team resulted in a much more even second half. Sedgley had to defend well as Tarleton exerted pressure, but the only try came from SP centre Adam Cheshire, a typical piece of running magic from him.
With one game remaining in the group stage of the competition, Sedgley should reach the last eight for the play-offs if they can defeat Trafford MV, the only defeat having been at Liverpool Collegiate before Christmas.
