HOPEFUL Rossendale manager Mark Molyneaux is waiting for his side's luck to turn.

The Dale boss was proud of the way his players rallied against league leaders North Ferriby.

But Molyneaux admitted another individual error cost them on Saturday in a 1-0 defeat.

"We played really well last weekend," he said.

"If you were a neutral at the game you wouldn't have known who was top and who was near the bottom.

"For 89 minutes our performance was great but for one minute we switched off and got punished.

"It was a poor goal to concede, they got the three points and a few players were told they were very close to their last games for Rossendale unless things improve."

And Molyneaux hopes they will be on their mettle throughout tomorrow's game at Woodley Sports.

"We need to get points on the board and quickly - no matter what," he said.

"I'm sick to death of being told we're a good side and have been unlucky.

"I'd rather hear that we were rubbish but managed to get three points."

He added: "We played Woodley in the cup the other week and got beat on penalties after drawing 1-1.

"They've got three very good forwards so defensively we've got to be really on song, but there are areas of their game that we feel we can exploit."
