GREAT Harwood Town's players can be forgiven for being a little rusty as they make the trip to leaders Fleetwood Town tomorrow.

Dave Sharples' side haven't tasted league action since December 11 due to the wretched weather and will be eager to get back on the football pitch.

The enforced break has left Town - who have only two league victories to their credit this term - marooned at the bottom of the table.

Sharples said: "It's like we've had a winter break which we didn't really want, especially as we're going to be playing catch-up football at the end of the season.

"It's not done my players any good as you can do all the training you want but there's nothing like games under your belt."

In stark contrast to the Robins' current predicament, Tony Greenwood's men are five points clear at the top of Division One and have lost just three league games all season.

Sharples said:"I know Tony quite well, he's got a very experienced side who are big and strong and like to play football."

Despite the gulf between the teams, Town will be travelling to the Highbury Park Stadium in a positive frame of mind.

"It's not our way of playing to go anywhere and just try to defend.

"We'll just play our normal game and try and stop them playing."

Town will be without full back Matt Holdsworth, who will miss at least four weeks with an inflamed toe.
