BURY under-15s look to make progress in the North-west Alder-Owen Cup when they travel to take on highly-rated Knowsley for their first round clash on Merseyside on Saturday.
The local lads, who have only won two of their eleven games played to date, will start as underdogs against a Knowsley side, who made it into the quarter finals of the English Schools NUT Trophy with a 2-1 win against Stafford at Lilleshall on Monday.
Bury under 14s are also in action taking on Salford in the quarter final of the Greater Manchester Schools County Cup at Broughton on Saturday (10.30am).
