MAY we express our thanks to the midwives on C5 and C7 wards at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn.
They work really hard and during our stay it opened our eyes to how hard they really work.
You often read negative comments about hospitals and staff but over the Christmas period the midwives ran the wards often with just two midwives and met all the parents' and babies' needs and although they were rushed off their feet they kept on smiling.
Also we would like to thank the midwives of Sure Start Hyndburn team for all their help and support.
