SEDGLEY Park RUFC, one of eight seeded clubs, were given a bye into the second round of the 2004-5 Thwaites' John Burgess Lancashire Cup after first round opponents Fylde withdrew from the competition citing a league fixture backlog.
Sedgley face now a trip to Widnes, with the other second round ties being: Waterloo v. Rochdale; Liverpool St Helens or Preston Grasshoppers v. Broughton Park or Fleetwood; and Aspull v. West Park.
The matches are due to be played on Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 26 and 27, with the final due to take place on Monday May 2 at avenue and time to be decided.
Meanwhile, in the draw for the Sixth Round of the English Clubs' Colts Knockout Cups Northen Division Plate Competition, Sedgley travel to Ashton-on-Mersey, the game to be played on or before Sunday, March 13, 2005.
