BURY Under-15s lost ground in the Greater Manchester Schools' League when they went down 4-1 to Stockport at Hillcrest Playing Fields.
The town team, who were hoping to record their third win in a row, went behind after 22 minutes when James Poole scored from the penalty spot.
Poole added his second when he rounded the Bury keeper and placed the ball into an empty net three minutes after the break and Bury suffered another setback when Stockport added a third through Lawrence Howell after 53 minutes.Bury, who had been disappointing in the first half, hit back with a Chris
Baines (Woodhey) goal after 72 minutes, but Stockport had the last say with Howell grabbing his second four minutes from time.
