AMIR Khan has carried out a threat to pull out of his ABA Senior Championships bout on Saturday after a row over ticketing.
Khan had been due to face Canvey's John Martin at the 800-capacity Ocean Rooms in Lowestoft, but was offered just 10 tickets by organisers for his army of supporters. It is thought over 300 people were ready to follow Khan to the fight,
Amir's father Shah said before the decision was announced at 4pm on Wednesday: "Amir does not need to prove anything, he was only competing in the ABAs so his supporters could see him fight in England.
"Pulling out is a very real possibility. They need to find a bigger venue. We will talk with them tomorrow, but it is disappointing."
