IT is certainly time that this Government clamped down on the thousands of scrounging benefit cheats and saved the hard-working taxpayer a lot of money.
However, this should all have been sorted out long ago and it is funny that the Government is checking up on such things now than an election is near.
Secondly, all the money spent warning smokers to give it up is a complete and utter waste. These smokers know that puffing away like a factory chimney is bad for them, yet they take no notice. So if they want to ruin their health let them get on with it.
All the money wasted on benefit cheats and health warnings about smoking could be spent on hospitals.
