PENDLE'S Citizen Advice Bureau is recruiting more volunteers after receiving an Investors in People award.
Mohammed Yaqub, training and recruitment officer, said "There has never been a better time to volunteer for Pendle CAB because we can offer complete training, a new refurbished training room with state of the art computers and we have recently been awarded the Investors in People Standard for the excellent support and training volunteers receive."
The offices in Nelson, Colne and Barnoldswick are staffed largely by volunteers how provide advice and guidance on an array of issues such as debt, welfare benefits, immigration and employment.
The presentation was made by Roy Winters from Investors in People to manager Claire Strachan and chairman Susan Hughes.
