FOLK group founder Joe Roberts has never been forgotten by the community he loved to help and entertain.
Every year since his death in 2001 his group Calico have organised an annual "Joe's Night" to raise funds for charity.
This year the event at St Joseph's Hall on March 5 will bring a great night of music and comedy for the Tsunami Appeal.
And it will be a special time to remember for the surviving members of the original Calico as they celebrate their silver jubilee.
The group have invited international folk star Bram Taylior and local duo Pennygate to join them for the memorial evening which starts at 7.30pm.
The concert, which has a late bar, is a sell out every year so book early. Tickets at £7.50 are available from Pauline on 01942 604603 or Des on 01942 674868.
